Pragya Patra, a trained Hindustani classical singer, started singing at the age of 5. She started Learning Classical music from Shri Bipin Nath and instruments such as Keyboard, Tabla, Guitar etc. She became a Child artist in ALL INDIA RADIO at 10 and performed with her mother in various TV shows and programs. She joined the music association of her school and bagged 1st prize at the state level for continuous 5 years in Solo Light, Solo Classical, Group instrumental and Group Song. She also appeared in more than 100 Music competitions and bagged first prize in all of them. Shri A.P.J Abdul Kalam awarded her for her musical excellence when she was 13. Pragya completed her schooling from DPS RKPuram, New Delhi in 2008 where she recorded her first Devotional Album named Bhavanjal with Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan, New Delhi. From here, her achievements kept adding on exponentially. She moved to Mumbai for completing her Graduation. During her graduation, she performed at various stages in Mumbai and got an opportunity to learn classical Music from Music Maestro SHRI SURESH WADKAR. She started recording various jingles and albums for Ads and TV shows. Pragya made her place in Top 30 in Indian Idol Season 6 in 2012 judged by Asha Bhonsle, Sunidhi Chauhan, Anu Malik and Salim. She cleared two rounds of solo auditions and reached the duet round where she sang “Yeh Mera Dil Pyaar ka Deewana.!! he Voice is an international singing reality show, for the very first time, aired in Indian format. Pragya cleared blinds & battles and stepped into Galas. S​he was so much impressive while singing a Punjabi song in Blinds that both Sunidhi Chauhan and Mika Singh wanted her in their respective teams. She has also received standing ovation from all the coaches for her Battles song “Mohe Panghat pe Nandlaal Chedd Gayo re.!!
